In 2008 Alice Constantinis (née von Stockhausen) created her own label StockhausenDesign and has since then worked for a wide variety of clients on challenging and diverse projects, ranging from safety equipment to bespoke light objects.
Inspired by change in society and people’s needs, driven by novel techniques and honest materials, Alice creates functional and meaningful objects.
Due to the small size of her business Alice can quickly respond to the requirements of her clients and adapt her work to her clients needs. Personal contact and close work with the client has been a key factor of StockhausenDesign’s success.
Since 2010 Alice has been involved in arranging the production of bespoke design objects made in India. She has gained significant knowledge about local materials, feasibility of production including fair working practices and effective quality control. Her frequent visits have enabled her to build a large number of professional and private contacts which are vital for the execution of any successful project in India.
